Strangford Fuels is a fuel oil distributor and approached Autus to develop a website to increase sales their fuel oil and solid fuel products. The site features an on-line payment facility for the fuel oil products. Given the high transport costs and relatively low margin involved in fuel oil distribution, we undertook a detailed review of the locations for targeting potential new clients, feeding this into the SEO process.
We agreed with our client that we should not produce yet another site featuring uninspiring shots of road tankers carrying or delivering oil. We agreed that what we were promoting was not wagon loads of thick, smelly liquid. We were promoting a means to a warm comfortable home, for families to enjoy – warm cosy living rooms and fun baths for the kids.
