Jive is Live – In Just 1 Week…!

The dance school website www.colchesterdanceschool.co.uk was launched on Friday 20th August, exactly 1 week after the website order was placed. Joint proprietor Brenda Playford is a very good client of Autus, for whom we have developed the business website www.eventassociates.co.uk. Through her business network Brenda has also been responsible for the first contact for several other websites that we have developed. So when we received the request to ’step on it’ to complete the www.colchesterdanceschool.co.uk website in the fastest time possible, the Autus team responded. Brenda requested a high impact, stylish concept and also an online diary for teacher bookings. Brenda is delighted with her new website and we hope that the online diary is soon crammed full.

Lybahs Home Furnishings Lauch – www.lybahs.co.uk

Lybahs Home Furnishings is a newly established business selling home furnishings online.

Lybahs offer a wide range of furnishings which will enhance your home, whilst not emptying  your account. The e-commerce website, www.lybahs.co.uk,  has a CMS (Content Management System) which enables the client to control all of the website’s content. A significant feature of this e-commerce website is that the client retains full control of the Page Tags, which are prime Search Engine Optimisation factors. This is not the case with many SEO websites and can be a huge barrier to Google placing and hence business generation.

A New Website For Dreamers

Autus has been requested to develop a new website for JMC Psychotherapy. Josephine Cropper has recently started to develop Dream Interpretation as a new component of her Psychotherapy practice. She has had an excellent response to her initial sessions and is planning to promote this and other activities in a more structured manner. We have agreed that Josephine herself should be promoted as the brand and she has been invited to speak on local radio about her interests.

Autus is developing a fresh new website which will co-ordinate the promotion of several aspects of psychotherapy and open up a number of previously untapped revenue sources.

The new website will be launched in early August.

Inprint Website Development

Autus has been appointed to develop a new website for Crewe based printing company Inprint Colour.

Inprint is a family run company with a strong client base and a service range covering digital and litho printing and a stand alone design service. Products include leaflets, brochures, posters, letterheads, exhibition stand pop ups, customised diaries, calendars and a full range of promotional items such as pens, mugs and keyrings.

In the year of its 30th anniversary, Inprint Colour is determined to ensure that its website should demonstrate the full range of its printing capabilities and also make visitors aware of the numerous ways in which Inprint works with its customers rather than for them.

A number of keyword phrases has been identified with this client as being important for Google placing and a strong Search Engine Optimisation strategy will be implemented for this business building website.

Website Reclamation – Its Not Always Viable

In the last 18 months a high percentage of new enquiries into Autus have been for us to optimise existing websites.  This is good business for Autus, as our technicians are very adept at analysing the technical foundations of a website, to evaluate what we would have to build on. We will then give the client a frank assessment. Sometimes we can build on what they have and optimise it for Google and other search engine positioning. But if the underlying website construction is inadequate, we recommend that optimisation is basically wasting money, as the website will never achieve the position required to be successful. The best option then is a complete rebuild. We discuss the client’s business objectives and expectations from their website, and develop a fully costed reconstruction proposal to meet these requirements.

Launch of Shulan Clinic Website

The newly developed website for the Shulan TCM Clinic has beeen launched. The website was launched and listed with Google a week ago and is already indexed and achieving very encouraging positions fo the relevant Google searches.

Proprietor Prof Shulan Tang is keen to participate in the continuous development of the website and a strategy of ongoing content addition plus other Search Engine Optimisation techniques has been agreed. Shulan contributed significantly to the design of the website concept and will now focus on providing us with interesting content and images which we expect will attract considetable business through the website.

Event Associates Website Enhancement

This website has a well developed booking system, designed to provide comprehensive details about the international conferences organised by Event Associates and to facilitate payments for attendance, accommodation and other delegate requirements.

SJP Builders Google Caffeine Effect on Ranking

The Google Caffeine development has caused many website clients problems recently. Sites have seen Google positions inexplicably altered.

Autus has now deployed a range of techniques to return SJP Builders Wigan to their rightful slot on page 1 for the appropriate searches. Much of this work involved following the generally acepted Google guidelines – add good quality original content, frequently, and grow internal and inbound links to the website. Applewood Interiors Website Re-development

Applewood Interiors of Brentwood, Essex,  have commissioned Autus to re-develop their soft furnishings website.  The company’s initial website was typical of many companies’ initial foray onto the web. It gave the business a web presence, a website reference point to use in the phone directory and in the paper based advertising.  Autus will focus effort in the re-design upon the Search Engine Optimisation of the site,  rather that a complete re-development of the website concept. The underlying structure will be completely renewed using state of the art website development techniques. This is a similar website re-development strategy to that recently employed for the Gleneagles Hotel, Southend, Esssex.
